Point reduction for lost games if turns are taken quickly

Postby manga17 on Wed May 12, 2010 10:20 am

I find that when someone is losing, the tendency is to take turns at the last minute. Conversely, players want to take turns more quickly on games they are winning. A small bonus is points should be given if players take their turns in less time (within10 hours for example). This in turn will have people visiting the site more frequently and players will be more motivated to finish their turns earlier in hopes of gaining this small bonus. This im sure will result in less missed turns and more participation on the system overall.

Remember, this site is for the casual gamer, where they can log on, take their turns, and log out. Not their fault that they actually have lives unlike the rest of us

Smart players actually do the opposite. If you lose you game quicker than the game that you win will give you a slight boost in the points you earn. However if you win the game first then the points you lose in the other game will be slightly higher. Now this may be only 1 or 2 points, but if you have a bunch of games that are already pretty much decided they can add up.
