New Tags!!!

Postby TheAnopsy on Fri Apr 09, 2010 9:35 am

So, I know we all hate deadbeats that leave the game once they see they can't win. We have a tag for that but there is no clear tag for the honorable people that fight to the very end no matter what the odds. For this it'd be awesome to recognize those people with a tag of "Fighter" or "Persistent" or "Unwavering".

I bring this up because there are more "negative" tags than "positive" tags (about 22 "neg" and 12 "pos"). And I've come across more "positive" players than "negative" ones and I'd like for others to be able to better distinguish those players for people that are looking for an exceptional game.

How does this sound?

I think "Brave" covers those concepts of fighter, persistent or unwavering...

...but your recommendation to increase the number of positive tags is RIGHT ON! Admins, lets make Conquer club a Positive place to play! Add an equal number of positive tags! Remove the negative tags that are rarely used!

I've used "Brave" to mark things more like people going for the win in escalating games where the chance is slim, but I do see your point, I think it almost fits the situation of never giving up but not quite. I just feel like there should be a more precise tag.

Evening up tags + making CC more positive = GOOD!!! =D>

Thanks for taking a look at this.

CC should put up a little official post in here asking for submissions for new tags. Then ask for people to vote for which ones they think should be added.
