Bust convicted "Premium" Multis Back to Private?

Postby LetGodSortThem on Thu Jan 04, 2007 12:48 am

I think busted "prems or freems" should be stripped of rank and busted down to private...There has to be a price paid...others have and I bet some gave up on site(not me sorry)...

if you just turn him into a private, no one will ever know that he was a multi, except for the people that were there when it happend.

wats the point in putting them as a private? wat if they r already private? the only punishment for being a multi is being banned although i can understand forgivin prem members coz after all this is lacks job and he needs the cash. i reckon a badge of shame should b worn next to the name instead of the rank badge. this should b done for a certain amount of time then they can carry on but b monitered. obviously a second offence gets them banned but i think this would b a gd thing....

lack set this up for fun, not money.

he set it up to be a positive place where people could have fun.

every decision hes made in here shows that.

i imagine this place drives him absolutely crazy...

imagine you go out of your way to set something like this up...people cheat, abuse other players, complain incessantly about everything thats wrong with it, and suggest hes only out for money when hes not.

he could make way more...he could charge more...he could advertise...he could do a lot of things in here that would pay much better...but he doesnt...

he set it up as a club for fun, and takes some hard earned money home to pay for the hours of frustration and work this place must take.

In my opinion, $20 per year is a pittance for the time and energy that some people require in here...

how many pms do you think the poor guy has to read...i know ive sent a few, and he answers every one...

suggestions are fine, but think about what youre saying before you complain...if it cost $20 a month...fine...at $20 a year...or free....come on...i think we are lucky to get away with as much as we do...

I refuse to answer your poll because of the options you give.

When people create options such as these to clearly bias a poll (even if its jokingly) the poll question becomes worthless in my opinion.

Anyway, in cases where busted premiums are given a second chance being reset would make sense to me. We'll have to wait and see what the new proposed system is though, because this topic might not even be an issue any more...

Somebody write that down. It will be funny in a few years.

Hell, it's funny now!

And all convicted cheaters should be banned for life...period...no second chances. Everyone knows the rules when signing up, and everyone knows cheating is wrong.

$20 dollars a year probably barely even covers his hosting costs anyways, at that low of a price its ignorant to say he's only out for money..

and rather funny

It's ignorant to say he's only doing this because he loves risk. Just because CC may not be making a profit yet, doesnt mean he didnt do this for the business aspects (ie: Money).

Will he claim any business loss on his taxes? Yup.
When the site has 10,000 premiums in a few years, will he donate all profits to charity? Nope.

CC is a business...and there is nothing wrong with that at all.

Tell you what...I will pay ALL hosting/hardware/bandwidth costs TODAY if I can also recieve all future premium profits. Think he will go for it?

I mean...it's not about money, right?

Why not just make it clear to prospective premium members before they purchase that they will be deleted with no refund if they are found to be a multi?
