Instant points per kill option

Concise description:
  • Rather than all the complexities of compared who has killed who then generating a score, create an option where each succesful attack gets you point(s)

Specifics:
  • Options either: Kill a single enemy army - get a fixed 1 point irrespective of each person's ranks. This has the potential to have hundreds of points changing hands in a game! However you can easily get any losses back. It might appeal to the gamblers out there. I'd love to give it a go :)
  • Or: Kill an enemy force of whatever size and thereby take over one territory - get 1 point each time you take a land. This means less points on smaller maps but could be a good haul on the large maps.
  • This is of course a MAJOR change to the points scoring system and would need to be monitored carefully so that we don't all end up as 5 star generals at the expense of noobs! I'd suggest it's only available to premium members, and only once you've completed 50 or 100 games

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • Provides an incentive to attack when Spoils aren't enabled.
  • fun! :)

No... *cough* point farming. Too much potential for abuse regardless of rank. 42 territory maps if there are 6 players. Then you could win at most 42-(your share = 7)=35 points. With a maximum loss of 7.
Both are lower than a normal game. W2.0 = 113. A 6 player game... you could win 113-18 = 95 maximum loss of 18.

If you lose you will lose however many points you started with, which means that you are almost guaranteed better off as a high rank. This setting is unworkable.

Well what if there was something that made it so you still lose points like in a normal game for being eliminated, some amount proportional to the map size?
