Modified Escalating Card Redemption

Instead of having the redemption rates jump with each time someone turns in 3 cards like so.

4-6-8-10

How about making an option for each player to have it like that...for example, lets use players x and y

Player x has redeemed 12 cards in total, his next cash in would be 12

4-6-8-10-12

Player y has only redeemed 9 cards, his next cash in would be 10
4-6-8-10

This way it isn't just luck by which you get more or less men you think you might and you know what you will get. I think this would be slightly better then flat rates cause it still escalates but at the same time requires the player to be aggressive throughout the entire game to get more and more bonuses.

I like this idea, I don't think it's been suggested either. It definitely has potential.

I disagree i think it would have to go up faster or it could easily become like no spoils games where everyone has 1000+ troops and no one ever attacks. Good idea though if it goes like 4,8,12,15,20,25...

+2, and +1 really are fun options, though they do lend themselves to build games more easily...but also open up some different game dynamics.

I wasn't talking about changing the # of men received for the bonuses...I simply used the 1st couple numbers that are given.

4-6-8-10-12

after that its

15-20-25-30 etc...I like that pattern of escalation, its just the system I had the idea of changing 8-)
