Tournament sub-forum for needing rescue

Concise description:- Make a sub-forum for "Needing Rescue" tournaments
Specifics:- Basically a sub-forum for any tournaments needing rescue.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:- Tournaments that need rescue could be found a lot easier
- Organisers wouldn't be warned or banned from making tournaments because of RL problems as often.

It would be unnecessary clutter.

I do not think so. It would also help people find out if a tournament that started has gone astray. Seems like a logical choice to me.

Not needed, there is a policy in place......
viewtopic.php?p=2141699#p2141699Lindax is the man to ask if you have a tournament that needs rescuing. I have seen the TO Group really step up this year and save a whole bunch.

*sigh* You know it could also help tournament members see if a tournament they are in have gone astray and they might want to rescue it.

Or maybe mark the tournament with a tag like this....
viewtopic.php?f=93&t=92282Or maybe don't start a tournament that you can't handle or are not committed to finish.

I vote for this. I also think if you deadbeat on running a tournament
(cough...colton...cough), you should not get any new tournament privileges for a set time frame, 6 months or a year.

It's the funny thing called RL that gets to people at times.

*sigh* They give you two chances. No need to harass me over one tournament.

It takes more than one as part of the policy. Regardless, this is a bad idea and I know OPrime does not want more and more sub-forums.

And secondly, hardly anyone was joining their games.

Well it would probably have more rescued tournaments and less people asking,"Hey what happened to this tourney?"

You have several tournaments that are either dead or dying. I'm in one of them. I asked a question in the thread a week ago, it is still not answered. I am in a 1v1 game with you in that tournament. You came within hours of deadbeating, and then showed back up.
While you may not have done enough to lose tournament privileges according to the rules (yet), your management of your tournaments sucks.

Incidentally, you always blame "real life" when it comes to deadbeating on your tourneys, yet you somehow find the time to post all sorts of stupid shit in the forums nearly every day.
Maybe you should use your time away from "real life" more productively.

Now you are blaming the people in the tournament....that is sad.
If you have problems or need help, you should be seeking the advice of the TD's. They are here to help.

No joke. I would send people 4(at least) invites and they would not join or open them for that matter. I am not joking when I say that I was not even close to having enough reserves because no one wanted to reserve. I sent at least 4 invites to people that hadn't joined and it is MY fault that they didn't accept or open them?

How about you try to go to Middle School, play hockey, do robotics, and do things with your church and then tell me if you have a lot of time left over. And FYI Those posts happen normally within 30 minutes of each other

No, it is your fault that you did not follow up with a TD. If I were you I would have defaulted some of the players or maybe asked some of the "eliminated" players to act as reserves in other divisions. You had options but failed to act. If players signed up and did not want to join games, that might say something about the setup or the TO. Given you have requested to be a clan leader, I suggest you focus on one thing and do it very well.

Whatever. Keep doing what you're doing. I won't be joining your shitty tournaments. I recently cleared my foe list, you're going back on it. I don't like you, and I don't want to read your stupid shit anymore.
I noticed you have a new tournament signing up advertised in your sig. I give it 2 months before you deadbeat on that one too.

That tournament of yours was just abandoned at the beginning of November, so this "new to tournaments" argument is not valid.
For the sake of CC, I suggest you read this....
viewtopic.php?p=2141686#p2141686 Especially the last line being...
If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas, as you go through it, feel free to contact any one of the Tournament Directors. That’s what they are here for…to help you have fun.
