- When Creating a game. The player has an option to not let any greasemonkey scripts to be used for that game.
Specifics:
- Some people dont use BOB, or clicky maps by choice. Others want to but find that they slow their computers to a crawl, especially on larger maps like conquerman. This will give those that dont (or cant) use the scripts to play on a level playing field on the maps of their choosing. Make it an option to choose scripts or no scripts during the game creation phase.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
- There is still an ongoing debate about whether or not the scripts give an unfair advantage to those that use them, when playing against players that dont. I have found the scripts to be so helpful, that I couldnt imagine playing without them. However, with the newest BOB update installed, I have found that my computer is constantly freezing, lagging, or requesting that the script be discontinued. Now i am playing many of my more familiar maps without scripts, and finding that it is alot of fun due to the extra challenge invovled. Is anybody curious as to find out how they would fare against the upper echelon elite players of CC knowing that they couldnt use clickies and BOB?? Finally you could play some 1 on 1 speed city mogul games with having Herpes beat you 98% of the time
Of course they would not be forced to join any of these games, but I think it would be an option that many would find interesting and use. When creating a game, just like fog or no fog, one can choose scripts allowed / no scripts allowed. Once the game starts, as soon as you open the game up, greasemonkey just automatically turns off and cant be turn on during that game. As soon as you click 'jump to next playable game' it automatically turns back on.
