If you begin your manual deployment but run out of time before you can deploy any troops (emergency situation came up) do you lose all your troops? That happened to me, valexmra, in game 5818407. Is this the way you meant it to work?

This is an issue with running out of time during ANY deployment when you have troops left to deploy.

These troops should be added to your next round same as if you had missed a turn.

I think they should be deferred just as if you missed the turn entirely. If your emergency occurs just before you start your turn, and you miss it altogether, the troops are all deferred. It seems to me that it is reasonable, if you start your turn, then get dragged away, to defer the leftovers. However, there is the issue of abuse of the privilege. If you miss three turns in a row, you get eliminated. If you show up, deploy one, then wait it out, you could stockpile a lot of troops which were not vulnerable to attack and then drop them all at once somewhere. The missed turn rule might need changing to cover this, say, a "missed turn" is one in which not all initially available troops are deployed.

I've lost armies in at least 5 team games... it sucks. Can't even imagine losing the deployment armies, especially on a big map. I don't know if this could be abused, but it should be looked into, if it hasn't already been. It really hurts losing those armies, and there is no other way to actually lose armies like that in all of CC. Deferred armies would be fine.
