Haha, so this should be your last time then, right?SuicidalSnowman wrote:
Everytime I play that map I always end up saying never again. This time I mean it.
That's what the Callouts thread would be for, but that seems to have fallen on the wayside...yeti_c wrote:Would be cool if we kept a record of games/winners in the first post.

OliverFA wrote:We can create a thread in the callouts thread, and instead of charging someone with the responsibility of updating it, each time someone wins, he can post a new entry in the thread updating the general score table. What do you think about it?
Alternatively, we could have one thread for anouncing new games and another one for results.
Honestly, I am interested in a Callouts thread. But, posing this question in as un-antagonistic way possible, what are your thoughts about this idea clearly having such broad support, still receiving no official word? If we do transfer all of these chats about new games over to Callouts I fear this idea might just slip by the wayside where only a few of the most ardent AA zealots even know it still exists.Tupence wrote:OliverFA wrote:We can create a thread in the callouts thread, and instead of charging someone with the responsibility of updating it, each time someone wins, he can post a new entry in the thread updating the general score table. I'm glad to see some interest in a callouts thread. This thread is becoming more and more like a Callouts thread and less like a Suggestions thread - it would be nice to keep this one for ideas only please guys

Well maybe anytime someone posts something the Callouts thread we can either quote it over here, and if someone jumps in a game we can ask them to please view this thread and show their support for AA. While I understand that Tupence is probably wearing his mod hat, I think it actually may be doing us a dis-service by using this for game creation. When Lack or whomever the powers that be view this, they see 30 pages of posts, but so many are simply setting up games. If we could show that this thread has 30 pages of pure discussion and support, it might be more effective.
SuicidalSnowman wrote:OliverFA, I think you have suggested an elegant solution. I would say it works. Someone should draft a nice opening post for it. Also, I was just recently informed you can keep formatting by quoting a post and then using copy/paste, so it would be fairly easy to transfer the table with all player, game, and color tags intact.

Best thing to do as always---make sure there are a couple of posts that summarize everything. He'd much rather look over a couple summation posts, than through a topic with lots of wandering!
