I have a 2 week period of inacivity coming up and a vacation button would just lead to me being in a very weak position after a fortnight of not attacking, assuming I am still in the game.

That would probably require some very CC addicted ppl that has a lot of free time all year round(which is definitely not me since I have school in late August).
Nevertheless, this is a good idea.

agreed Joo, if for example you had a User group made up of trusted members, the burden could be shared between then..
Then to the people who needed cover for their games it would be like having the support of a clan when they are too new to be part of one.

Holiday Mode

Postby ozmars on Thu Oct 16, 2008 3:55 pm

Holiday mode:

Specifics:

It would be nice during a game to be able to put yourself into "holiday mode" where your turn is either skipped completely, or where missing a turn does not count as missing a turn. This would be particularly helpful over long weekends, etc. It is basically impossible to play this game on my PDA otherwise this mode wouldn't be necessary.

It's impossible to play this game on my washing machine otherwise my computer wouldn't be necessary. These moderators, what do they do for god's sake? Whatever they're paid it's too much!

limit it to 1 "holiday mode" per game?

anyone on here with kids and a family will tell you that's it's highly unsociable whilst on hols in a caravan park on the south coast of NSW to say "hang on, gimmee 15 minutes to go and invade pakistan"
