As I already pointed out above, that wouldn't work... The only way you are forced to have a set when you can hold five cards in your hand is to have three types of cards... If you made more types of cards, you'ld have to be able to hold more in your hand...
As hecter said above, the best way for this to work would be to be able to use that card by itself...
