I'm not sure what all is included in the e-mails that go out to new people when they sign up, but if it's not included perhaps there should be a link to the General Discussion forum; more specifically the Strategy sub-forum. There are many good threads there for newer players and also the Mentor Program.
I've noticed a number of people making the comment "I wish I would have read the forums before I started taking my turns," a link to the GD could help alleviate that.
This may already be included, if so just disregard this post. When I signed up the e-mail thing wasn't going on yet so I don't know what is in it.
