Feedback Limiter on Game Creation Screen

Postby wintermute on Mon Sep 24, 2007 2:22 pm

So here's my idea:

The ignore option is great, but that is a reactive strategy, in that folks cannot be blocked until AFTER they have played versus a person and have lost/won the points from the game.

So, can there be an option added to the game creation screen that would allow game creators to block those with a certain negative feedback level? This could be a one size fits all option such as:

___ Check here if you wish to prevent those with 10 negative feedbacks or more from joining.

Or set it on a scale set by the game creator through a drop down box

__ Prevent players with more than (0-xxx) negative feedbacks from joining this game.

Thanks,
Craig

I think a game creator should have the option of choosing who he or she gets to play with. That's the point of a private game. If you have too many negs, then maybe that's an indication that you are doing something wrong in your gameplay or chat skills.

I think this should be an option for premiums. I think lack should make the primary focus of premiums the ability of playing what you want to play with whomever you want to play. If that includes anybody that doesn't have a single negative feedback, then shouldn't it be up to them? I mean, they paid money to ensure good games.

It might just be easier if you could ignore anybody, no matter when you play with them if ever. Everyone could use this function and it's more practical.
