Neutral Feedback Counter

Postby Reed Jones on Sat Jun 16, 2007 6:25 am

Suggestion Idea: You join a game with 2 people, they both have 3 Positive and 1Negative. During the game they both seem to focus on you and it seems they are multies. You look at there feedback they actually had 3 Positive and 1 Negative and 3 Neutral. The 3 Neutral both think they are muilties. Now you lost a game that you would have reually advoided because they looked like good players. If only there was a neutral counter...so why not!

Specifics: The Neutral Feedback number appears inbetween Positive and Negative Feedback Number.

Why it is needed: Some people give neutral feedback because they do not want to give a negative and sometimes people have alot of neutral feedback but no negative feedback. But it looks to a player like they have no negative and some postive.

there also given out if a player has already giving that person a positive as well. i voted yes on this. But to be honest its not really needed. you cany judge a player on how mnay nutreal feedbacks they have, unless you read them.

Majority of people leave negatives when they suspect a multi. And most of those multi accusations are false anyway b/c people leave them there instead of reporting them, which is stupid since they won't get looked at if just left in feedback.

Not really necessary IMO.

Soooo...it is a good idea but not something todo right away. Ok! :D

Another thing to look at I counted about 10 neutrals don't ya think that would be nice to know he/she has that many neutrals.

Well when you click on their feedback to read the negative, wouldn't you see the neutrals?

And some people leave neutrals when they have already left a positive and want to leave another so the number would not mean that much.

no, if the feedback wasnt worth a negative then im not that fussed as it cant have been that big of a deal...... however if they had alot of neutrals then i may check, and if they are all for the same thing (ie breaking truces/dodgy secret alliances/skipping turns) then maybe i would think twice about playing them. whereas without the neutral feedback counter i probably would never had checked......

Prefect! That is what I am trying to get at. If a person has no negatives nobody will look at their feedback!

Yes you would because you would want to know why the person gave them a neutral. Nobody looks at positive. Everybody looks at negative. While nobody might know there is even a neutral!

Waste of time. You should look at the profile either way. Plus for kicks I look at the profile they have left as someone that is a jerk/leaves a lot of neg feedback for bad reasons are also someone I won't play with/against.

This statement is false, you cannot judge a player by the negatives or positives for that matter.
It is how they play the games that they are in with you, that make, or break how good they are in your mind ;)

I vote no, because this is stupid.
You don't need to clutter the positive/ negative feedback counter anymore then it already is, and besides, what will the noobs thing, there's ties?
:?
