Doubles and Triples Turn Idea? *Rejected*

Postby Doss on Sun May 27, 2007 8:36 pm

Dont know if this has been done before, but hey!

Why is it when playing doubles or triples and someone off your team gets eliminated then their turn is automatically passed over and the opposing team gets another go straight away?

Would it not be fairer to have alternate goes regardless of how many is in the team?

The situation that i am faced with now is having lost my two teammates i now get 1 go for every 3 of the opposition, guaranteeing I stand no chance. If i were to get a go every alternate go i may be able to put up a fight, and they would still have to work as a team to beat me.

Just a suggestion?

no thats stupid. its your job to protect ur teamates!! if you let them die, then o well. terrible idea..thats the point in a dubs/triples game, elimintae one of the players so you have an advantage

With this there would be absolutely no point in taking out a player on the other team except for cards. In fact taking out a player would often be bad as his/her team mate may have a larger bonus. I don't like the idea.

So you think you should be rewarded for poor play?

I'll skip the jury on this one and just say no.

This should be implemented for when a teammate deadbeats what you do is you have the team players remain in tact because:

If both players had 3 units a turn they would be getting 1 a round but if one deadbeats. they will will either get 3-7 where they should be only getting 6

Please consider this in more detail

Maybe, but this could be abused so a player could purposely deadbeat. Interesting though.

Only for deadbeating otherwise it is unfair
