Team joining games

* Suggestion Idea: Make up a method in which teams can declare who their partners will be for the doubles and triples.
* Specifics:

1) Have a invite method in which people can invite you to be on their team and the leader of the team can join the game and it will automatically enroll the whole team into the game.

2) Implement a Reserve slot for a teammates by typing in their name for the reservations. Reserve slots then become public spots after an hour if the player it is reserving for does not show up.

* Why it is needed: So we do not get accidental teammates.
* Priority** (1-5): 3

We actually have something on the to-do list already that will solve this problem for you.

ah, sorry about that I didn't think that post referred to what I mentioned here.

They're called private games.

Still though doesn't solve the problem of getting people as your random teammate because you still can't reserve slots for your teammate.

Umm… You pm your team mate and tell him to join. When he does, release it to the public. Duh :roll:

Umm, no. Mugiwara, Nali4freedom, and I tried to do that and we use a vent so the in the time that we said go we all clicked on the button. Somehow though a random person joined right before the last of my team roster(nali4freedom) could join and then we were thrown into the game with a random person as an ally. And this is within a period of about 5 seconds that this random person would be able to join. PM would be even worse for this situation

Hecter, I think you're really missing the point. I have a player that I like to partner up with and we often go looking around for open doubles games. Frankly the most attractive games are ones that already have two teams in them that look solid. Of course, then we are forced into hoping that we get the last two spots rather than the first one of us getting paired up with a random.

Don't be so quick with the snippy replies rather than thinking through the actual question asked. The issue posed is real and can't always be solved by playing private games.
