There, i think, are many reasons why there is game for two players. Being new to this i am not sure wheter it has been tryed. But i would really like it if there was a dual player system.
Ok, i agree Dual players would not work with the point system, it would be too easily abused to get points quick, also if one player deadbeats game over, no chance of wiping him/her out quickly.
But if there was some chances to how you could play a 2 player match it may work, for example i want to play my friend on 1 on 1 to see who is the better player, but i don't really care about points in a game liek this, so dual player games would not add up to your points total (Maybe you can have "dual player points
) and the only reason for playing it would be say for a torunament final of only the best two or if you want to challenge a friend. Also to stop the deadbeating, it shoud be a chosen round limit of 30 mins, 1 hour or 2 hours. This would mean the player could be easily elminated. But, you ask, what happens if one of us wants to go out? The round is too quick? Well, if both players agree to pause map, the round time will be frozen. And because both players have to do this it can not be abused.
Any thoughts? Maybe the pausing can be brought into real games for a one day maximum?
I think the pause button may be worth a look at?
