Change the games finder

Postby Bolbs on Thu Sep 16, 2010 7:29 am

Concise description:
  • Change the game finder

Specifics/Details:
  • Change the menus in game finder to make it more user friendly

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • Maybe you could have favourites searches that you could just click on rather then complete the whole form every time.
Basic templates could also be set up for quick searches.
All it takes is for you not click the "waiting for players" box before searching and you will have to complete the whole form again. I have done this many times.
I find the whole process very long winded.

I'd certainly like to see a "choose map" feature that you can say "anything but certain maps" so I don't have to wade through endless Waterloo, World 2.1, Bambbo Jack, and the one about the shopping mall. ATM you can only do this by slecting all the maps except the ones you don't want.

Think this is a great idea. Both game finder and start game forms are a bit of an arseache to use at the moment.

Would be a big improvement if it could simply remember what you selected last time and set them as the default values.
