Now we all know about dead beat players in online games, but I have to address this again I think. I know some topics are already out there to say we should be able to see a stat on players for how many times they have been kicked out. But I also think there should be a stat that tells us how many times they miss a turn and the average time it takes someone to complete a turn.
I think this a good way for serious people to be able to see if they want to participate in a game with another player who consistently misses turns or takes inordinately long to take their turn. I think an average turn length is a great way to do this and a stat showing the amount of missed turns.
A way to salvage any hurt feelings about this great added stat is that you put some kind of way into it that the dead beat stats can be challenged for a certain amount of time after they have occured. Maybe an email sent out to other players in that particular game that cast a vote on whether or not they think the player in question deserves the negative stat. Then a majority of the votes that agree or disagree with the decision to gauge whether it sticks or not....? That part is not what I definitely think should happen but a mere suggestion. All in all though, I think the stat should be added.
