Does not always work, due to the fact that some players, say as Xiangwang, have a score of about 4000, but is still ranked as a Colonel.

I may be mistaken, but isn't the amount of points gained already dependant on the point difference? Meaning that the higher the opponent you beat is ranked, the more points you gain? What am I missing here?

wondering the same thing...

Super Nova, I am currently a Major @ 2200 points, you are a Private first class. If you beat me you'd get around 40 points, if I beat you I'd get around 7 points (rough estimates), what exactly is it that needs to be changed/ you want changed?

Look at the thread I linked if you want clarification. The "problem" is that the way points are calculated does not differ from rank to rank.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
This will add more meaning to ranks, since the ranks will now show who the best players are, not the people who have played the most newbies.
