Concise description:
- New features to filter when looking for a specific kind of game
Specifics/Details:
- 1 - Filter by "empty spots" - right below "number of players", you can have an "empty spots" line with options from 1 to 7.
2 - Filter by opponent's rankings: divided in three categories for multiple player games (minimum, maximum, average).
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
- Number 1 is useful for many purposes, such as not waiting for a game to be filled.
Example 1: If you're really in a hurry to play an 8-player game, for instance, you can look for a game with the: "waiting for players", "public", "8 players" and "1 empty spot", meaning you'll only find 8-player games that already have 7 players that joined it.
Example 2: you have 3 buddies to play a quadruple game with you, but there are many games with both sides at least partially filled. You can save a lot of time by marking "waiting for players", "public", "quadruples", "4 empty spots".
Number 2 will help you find appropriate matchups faster.
Example 1: you don't want to play any cooks, so you filter the game search engine with the "800+ points" option.
Example 2: too scared of playing a colonel? Filter with the "2499- points" option.
Example 3: don't mind playing a cook or two, as long as the game is not filled with them? Use the "average points" in order to customize your standards.
Reminder: I'm not suggesting you to prohibit someone from joining the game, but simply allowing you to quickly find game that suit your demands. If you join a partially filled 8-player game with no cooks, there are no guarantees that they won't grab one of the last remaining spots. Preventing something like that is not within the scope of my suggestion.
