- No this isn't a general challenge lol! It's a suggestion for a new game type where the first member of a team in doubles, trebles or whatever can elect to play multiple colours/slots in that team game. Some players whine about the quality of team mates, this is a way to address that.
Specifics/Details:
- It can be either working the same as a team game (so u can have the Red, Green and Blue armies under your control) or as a "horde" factions (where you have Red1 Red2 Red3 etc). Only the latter would allow you to get the regional bonuses.
- Scoring is penalised for players playing multiple colours or as a horde.As an example (and alter it who you may) instead of getting two shares in the eventual win points if playing two teams you only get 1.75 shares; instead of 3 shares in a triples it's 2.5 shares, instead of 4 shares in a quad you only get 3 shares. You still lose points at exactly the same rate though.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
- More fun - I'd love to play against 4 other people in a quad game with me playing all my side !
- For the guy who sets up such a game, it will move far more quickly - especially if you can set it up as a freestyle game!
Drawbacks: (why isn't this a default header?!)
- Analysis required on whether this has the effect of removing points from the overall gaming pool (deflationary), or potentially inflating people's rewards too quickly!
