- No more than 1 set of spoils cashed mid turn by a given player on any given round. Spoils may only be cashed mid turn on the same turn the spoils were aquired. Allow aquisition of more than 5 spoils, but when one has more than five spoils he must turn in exactly one and only one set of spoils at the start of each round.
Implication:
- The "kill player, take spoils, cash spoils to gain troops to kill another player, take spoils, cash his spoils to kill another player..." tactic into "kill player, take spoils, cash in spoils next turn to kill another player, take spoils, cash spoils next turn to kill another player..."
- This would prevent the second weakest player from elimintating six other players in an 8 player game by being the first to kill the weakest player. The same spoils would be given to the player who eliminated his neighbor, but over a slightly longer period of time.
