Map Attack Lines?

not sure if this is a newbie thing or not, but i am havng trouble reading maps and have lost at least (1) game because of it. it seems there should be a setting to definitively check what you can attack from where before you deploy your troops.........

a good example is i tried attacking smr from vat on the italy portion of the earopa map and couldn't (game 6256195).

If you use firefox, you can get a plugin called BOB from the plugins forum that will allow you to hover over a territory and see all the places it borders/bombards/is attacked from. BOB does lots of other cool stuff too, but that particular feature will provide the information you require.

And if you are even unsure and want to double check, you can click on the large map button to see a bigger, clearer version of the map.

Also you can always ask a question about the map into the strategy forum.
