Assassin games, predicatable targets

I've started a couple of assassin games and have noticed that the target is always the person above you in the player list. I have spoken to a couple of friends and they have noticed the same thing. Is this by design or is it just a coincidence that this has happened? It seems to negate the assassin element of a game as you know who everyones targets are.

I have played about 70 assassin games and I checked 10 of my games randomly and only one time my target was the player above me.

I guess we're just unlucky so far then. I'll play a few more and see what happens. Out of interest could you check the most recent games you've played and see what they are like. It may be a recent bug (if it is a bug)

Admittedly I've only played two assassin games, but in both of those my target was the player above me, I thought that behaviour was "by design"

I've played about 18 games, I just checked most of them and my rarely was my target right above me. This is true for my recent games as well

just looking at my 5 newest games one is a 4 player game the others 3 players...

the four games that are 3 player i has 2 above and 2 below.. and the one 4 person game i have a target 2 below me...

how many players are in ur games? in a 3 person game u have a 50/50 chance of getting either target..
