- When people are forum banned, their usergroup is set to "guests" and that is the only way to tell. You can still PM them and post on their walls, only they can't see it (stupid in my opinion, but nonetheless). Therefore, letting people know that they are banned would be nice, and for how long.
Specifics:
- There are a few different ways to do this. Some forums allow the "Title" to be displayed on their userpage (a title example being lackattacks, which is "webmaster" or some crap like that), which would be auto-matically changed to "banned from forum privileges until: xx/xx/xxxx (with this number being 99/99/9999 forum permanently banned members).
- Another possible solution is a pillory, which is a list of current bans, kept somewhere on the site for the public to see.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
- This would allow for people to know when others are banned. It's quite annoying for tournament organizers, and clanmates, to not know that someone you need to talk to is unavailable on this site, and for what time period.
Any other suggestions would be nice.
