Hey all,
I don't think I am the only one, but there are some users of CC who may be partially or completely color blind. I am only partially so at worst it just sucks for me to try to differentiate between certain colors but with a little time and confirmation from the options during my turn, I can find out which countries belong to who. However, it does make strategizing outside of your turn a bit hard because sometimes you mix up the colors or just can't tell the difference.
So I propose a setting allowing the user to select which color represents which user. For instance, for myself it would be best for me to stick with bright non interfering colors like red yellow, blue, black etc. For completely color blind persons, maybe have little exponent signs available(possibly in different corners too). Basically, it will be an optional setting you can specify and choose the kind of representation you want for each user's army.
The best way to implement this would be with a spectrum style layout with shades of the color below it. I don't know the best way to explain it, but if you've played Need for Speed Carbon or dabbed around in photoshop, it basically allows you to choose any color you want to the exact degree of lightness/darkness. And for completely color blind people, just add an option for subscripts.
