so you voted yes (good idea) then?

Not to jack your thread- Jimmi, but it looks as tho' you need a bump anyway. ;)

Wondering if you can incorporate an idea that I have in your FOE LIST suggestion. Team players such as Owen and countless others rarely use the ignore list because they don't play singles. Why would they need an ignore list?- but for players like myself that frequent public games, I come into contact with a lot of eh.... let's say less skilled players. Although my ignore isn't heavily weighed down as I usually clear the list every few months or so except a select few. Anyhow, most of the players on there I wouldn't mind playing against in dubs or trips. Perhaps, we could have the option when ignoring. For instance, Dipshit1 is a terrible singles player but it doesn't mean I wouldn't mind playing against or with him in team games- so he goes on my singles ignore list. After time or some team games, I could eventually remove him. Dipshit2 is a total dipshit and he's ignored in both game types.

What say you ?

I like it! I think that it is separate though and i am not sure how it could be incorporated.

Anyway mate, i think it is a good idea and may have legs but I am giving up with Suggestions to be honest Scotty. Their pursuit is are utterly fruitless and acts merely as a pleasant excercise in distraction.

Meh me either, searching for previous suggestions doesn't really interest me nor does providing a reason on why it will improve the aspects of the site. Ok thanks- maybe someone else will suggest it because I'm not that distracted at the moment. ;)

Cheers-

Not quite --

200,000 members is not the sampled population. The sampled population is "those members who visited the Suggs and Bugs forum in the time this thread has been here"...

THAT number is far, far lower ... more like the 100's not 100,000's

Further, of those, how many saw it when it was near the top/first page? Not many of those who visit the forums look past the first few post. And a good number more just won't vote in polls. (and there are actually a lot of other issues)

SO, while I do not know the true percentage ... saying that only .02% of the CC community agrees is incorrect.

To say that, you would have to find a way to get a representative sample of the entire CC population. Ideally, you narrow down those factors that would make a difference in how people answer. OR you take a random sample of large enough size that it probably resembles the entire CC population pretty well. This is not just a matter of finding people .. you have to actually get answers! To do it correctly is actually pretty difficult.

The best way to look at polls here is not so much as an actual yeah/nay vote, but to see if there is enough interest to warrant attention from CC management. (but whether they see it that way or not is another question ... remember THEY worry about the whole population and I suspect Lack is quite aware that the people in the forums do not necessarily have the same views as the rest of the CC population -- for that matter, most of CC just wants to play games and have fun).
