Concise description:
as we all know sarcasm is hard to detect on the internet, ergo i have the solution, sarcasm tags

Specifics: not how :roll: is automatically added

[sarcasm] sarcastic text [/sarcasm]  :roll:


This will improve the following aspects of the site:
improve forum goers' ability to communicate what they mean

Seeing as what the effect of the tag would be is the main part of the suggestion, and the rest is already here (since we can still add the tags), it does not seem like you will go anywhere with a "let's make typing this do something more than it does now, but not sure what"

Also, it occurs to me that if this is not a part of the forum software, you will have to wait for phpBB updates until we get it.

Maybe it italicizes the first half of the word and then backwards italicizes then next half

well its just that i use sarcasm a lot, but on the internet it just makes me look dumb* at times

*dumb meaning, more so than usual
