This will improve the following aspects of the site:
makes conversing with teammates in team games much easier, and can make talking in general with your opponents in rt or speed games much easier.

It already is practically live. If you click on the message box, don't write anything and press Enter then the chat refreshes

The only way I can see it being improved is to move it up the page a bit...somehow/where. More players would actually find it then.

lol moving it up i agree with too.

still, continually pressing enter is not much better than pressing "r" for those who have clickies or pressing the refresh page button for those who don't. too impratical to me. you might post something, only to realize that you no longer need to say it because someone else already said so or such.
