- Please announce new Beta Maps in the Headlines on the front page.
Specifics:
- Before the introduction of the Beta period for new maps, all new maps were announced in the Headlines, when they went live. Now it is only announced, when they move out of Beta. I suggest to make announcements for both.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
- In the olden days (before the introduction of the Beta period for new maps), all new maps were announced in the Headlines, when they went live. So when I logged in to CC, the new maps were one of the very first things I noticed, and I could immediately check them out, join & start games on them.
Today it is only announced, when the maps move out of the Beta period. Thus I often miss new maps and only realise, they are up for play several days or weeks after they went live.
So I suggest to make announcements in both cases: New maps going live as Beta and again, when moving out of Beta.
