Remove this irrational reckless clueless complainer bullshit from your system NOW.
Fix the bias towards negativity in your ratings system by getting rid of the checkboxes in the first place, or at least confining it to equal amounts od positive/negative ratings. Get rid of most of the tags, such as meaningless 'Balanced Play' and 'Talkative'. It is the worst thought out moderation system I have ever stumbled across. Give meaningful options instead of a page full of barely comprehensible tags that are mostly insults. Use a few tags, like slashdot, you only need 4-5 positive or negative tags to define most of the userbase. The current system is encouraging abusive belittling behaviour, openly catering for the "Bullys" of the site while being ugly, incovenient and far too much hassle for the regular folks.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
- Membership increase
- Goodwill of the community
- Meaningful ratings
- Simplify and improve the feedback interface
- Stop pissed off people posting these rants
