Move the Chat Box!!

This is it guys, chat is one of the most important parts of risk, but they put it on the bottom? No one checks it when you need to tell them something. So what are we gonna do about it? You guessed it, we/re gonna petition to move the chat box closer to the map. vote yes in the poll to do your part in making risk communication easier!! If more than 75% vote yes, ill start a new thread for where we will put it.

I think it's used quite good, but sometimes when you are in a hurry you can miss something so sure.

I like it where it is. If it were possible to make it an option - whether to include the chat first or the Game Log first - I would support that. I'm not against personal customization.

i like the chat where it is.

honestly how much effort does it take to scroll down your page and see if there is anything new in the chat?

its not exactly back breaking labour.

i know its not hard to scroll down to see it i was thinking more along the lines that no one does scroll down, it should be where u can always see it so u know when someone wants to talk to u. i also was not thinking about switching it with the gamelog, i was thinking about moving it to a whole new place like along a margin or something

well 'no-one' better start doing it!

its rather lame imo in seeing in the game chat, "Oh im sorry... i didnt see your offer for truce... havent looked in the chat for a couple days"

I don't think scrolling to view chat is a big deal. Not being able to see what you are attacking, as happens on some maps, IS a big deal .. and moving the chat closer would only make that worse.

Is it possible for grease monkey to make a "chat tab" you just move your mouse over and it pops up then dissapears if you drag off? Like the dissapearing menu and such. Otherwise there is no room up top.

There just isn't room on most screens to have everything. What is more important to immediate play ... seeing an entire map while attacking, and even the log ... or seeing chat?

If you really feel chat is that important, then an alert of some kind would tell you there is chat, but still let us see the more important stuff.
