Delay speed game till... [Rejected]

Postby Kemmler on Fri Jan 25, 2008 1:26 pm

I have some friends and we want to play a speed game for instance...

unfortunately we can't all be on at one time so could there be an option to delay a speed game until <date><time>?

Or you could just make it when you're all on...

it'd be nice to have it open for a while for them all to join then postpone till that date

or you could just wait til you all are ready to play and be like HEY let me create the speed game now...... this isn't like papajohns where you place an order in advanced and have it sent on that day.

Just create a regular 24 hour game and then take your turns when you're all on.

There wouldn't be much difference if we added this - if you all sign up at different times, then the clock starts automatically at the scheduled time but one of you isn't on, then that's bad for the one person...much better to PM everyone, say "be online at 2pm on the 3rd" and then start when you know everyone is there...are you always within 5 minutes of on time??? because it you're not then the game would start without you...our servers are always on time ;)

This will be made easier once we get our friends list integrated into the site so you can see who is online at any given time.
