The "down for maintenance" page [Done]

If you visit the front page when CC is down, you get redirected to <http://www.conquerclub.com/index.down.html>. If you refresh, you're still on that page, so it keeps on giving you the message even after CC is back up.

Naturally, I didn't realise that until after I tried to use that page to find out whether the site was back up so I could finish my turn.

Could something be done about this?

Good point. I added a link Check if Conquer Club is back online to index.down.html

Sometimes you'll get that page momentarily during the nightly backup.
