Concise description:
Introduce Premium Membership of $9.99 with limitations compared to the regular premium membership

Specifics/Details:

• Premium Membership of $9.99
• Only 1 Year offering, no quarterly or monthly option
• Limit the number of total active games to 30
• No Speed games

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

• We already have free membership that provides 4 simultaneous games and no speed games. The proposal is somewhere in the middle of the current offering and free membership and is intended for people that prefer light game load.
• With cheaper version of Premium Membership we should be able to keep more casual players and thus remediate the player drop.

I'm not speaking as a mod, but as a player.

A lot of premium players don't ever play 30 games at a time and don't have the time for it. I know I don't unless it's an event like Whac a mod, (which I didn't get to do this year,) so that would be a lot of currently premium players dropping to $10 a year. I honestly can't see BW jumping to do that. To have another tier like this, it has to be realistic.

Now if you suggested 10 dollars to play 10 games at a time, I could see that working maybe, or something along that line. Casual players probably never play 10 games at a time anyway.

Actually if you made speed games Freemium friendly, this place could become the most popular Club in town.
You'd attract a massive new crowd that just wants to get in, get done, and get out.
Most wouldn't have much time for chatting alas, ...but there just might be a few worthy raconteurs in the bunch.

This is a very good idea . New players just wanna play speed games. The 24 hour turn needs to sink in before you start to appreciate it.

I see you haven't done any research and you are basing your opinion based on god knows what. BTW how many times CC had paid premium for you?

From the basic research I've done ~750 members wont fit into 30 games limit criteria(4 free + 26 paid). Currently they have more active games. I presume those 750 members are over 50% of the premium players but for simplicity lets say they are 50%. The other 50% are casual players but are also the ones that are candidates for abandoning the site(probably forever). The idea of my proposal is to try and keep those players as much as possible($10 is cheep enough even for not using the site at all while $31 is not). If nothing is done to keep those 750 casual players CC loses those $31 from them but also risks the $31 from those 750 active players as well. So in other words my proposal is a form of investment in the active 750 members so they will stay longer and preferably never quit.

If we look at your proposal... $10 for 10 games(4 free and 6 paid) then we can notice that those 6 paid games are probably more expensive than gold. No one would go for that deal.

When membership numbers are dropping then BW has 2 options(as any company), invest in CC(doesn't seem he is interested in this) or reduce the price to keep the market share. With dropping membership numbers he can't even sell the site as well(constant number of members is whole different story). There is and option for bankruptcy as well, but that doesn't create money.

*based on the price of 500 Conquer Credits -> $7.35

Personally I don't think that members that prefer speed games are long-term customers but they are still customers. I do agree that we need bigger packs of speed games(75, 200 etc) for them.
If you guys like speed games please propose those offerings as well(its your idea after all).

I dont like speed games. But all the 3 to 4 years ive been a member i saw a lot of new players joining wanting to play "right now"...like everyday... but faillure to get that "right now direct play" resulted in leaving them at the same day..never to return... so much potential customers just walking away EVERY DAY is mindblowing i say.. and so sad to see..so include all bots and speedgames in the freemium.

How many "guide games" are asked in global chat daily??

Everything in total must be like 5 new players minimum EVERY DAY...that dont stay that way.. 5x365×4 is how much? And what is the total number of current paying clients?? Crazy to let them (new potentials) walk out the door like that. No new player is gonna pay 6 buks for a product he does not even know he wants it..

I don't think it is used at all(far less than 1%)... Thus the need for more attractive offerings.

You are such an ass, honestly. You really have to come in with personal attacks because I had an opinion? CC has not always paid my premium. Sometimes I've just bought it myself because I couldn't be bothered waiting to get it upgraded and needed the slots for clan games. It's really not that expensive. Geez.

it would be worth $10 just not to have to deal with ads and pop ups. I honestly dont understand why new people even stick around having to deal with that. If I found CC as a newbie, I would be so turned off I wouldnt even try to stick around

there has to be a market for like $5 or $10 to access more features of the site.. like chess.com or something.. also those ads are super annoying i agree people may pay a monthly sub fee to play and have those turned off
