My problem is I can't set-up and invite to the required games so I can't challenge, I have answered any challenges including a recent one from Chapcrap.

Ahhhh...I see you are a Freemium which explains why you haven't been able to create games or send invites. You're only allowed to have 4 active games going, so when you want to challenge someone, just make sure you have one open slot. From now on, do this:

1. Post your challenge and the player you are challenging...Remind me that you are a Freemium.
2. State what settings you want for your Home game.
3. I'll have your opponent create your Home game with your settings and invite you to the game.
4. I'll have your opponent create the Tie-Breaker game.

If you have additional slots open up, please let your opponent know so we can keep the challenge moving.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

I've reinstated you back to your previous position on the Ladder.

Ok. Thanks

It just felt wrong challenging then making do the invites. 8-[
I'll keep slots free as I'm not playing that much at the moment.

Cheers

I accept but I think your game needs recreating - "Poly games CAN NOT be 4v4 poly or trench". You have a Poly Trench game..

I did not remember this rule. However, it doesn't seem to be enforced any more, if in fact it ever was.

Here's a poly trench game from the xroads-vs-chapcrap series: Game 18833461
Here's a poly trench game from my series vs chapcrap: Game 18816243
Here's a poly trench game from the the Elaterate vs. t4m series: Game 18838906
Here's a poly trench game from the games between xroads and MGSteve: Game 18829809
Here's a poly trench game from the xroads-vs-benga series: Game 18796864

That's just January. Lots more going further back. So I don't know if this rule is still in force.

Anyway, dropped the game and sent a new one: Game 18848266

So, to update, the new challenge is:
My game: Game 18848266
His game:
Neutral game: Game 18845697

My game: Game 18848294

Also, maybe the Trench/poly rule should be changed. I never saw the point of it.

I won MGSteve's challenge 3-0 and now will retire to the bottom of the ladder where I can leisurely work my way back to the top through merit, I hope.

It was nice to go out in style by winning the challenge - here were the winning games:
Game 18871885
Game 18871986
Game 18871883

I had never won Gazala Line before, and never played Pirates and Merchants before. The dice were with me and very much against MGSteve.

Ironically, he will move up into the 4th spot because of my retreat to the bottom. And don't forget, he still kicked my pants in Judge Chuckie Poos "court room:

Chuck, please let me retire from the ladder after Steve's challenge is completed. I need to become a better one on one player and starting back at the bottom when my game count goes down a bit would be more in keeping with my abysmal record. Erik is cleaning my clock in all 3 games, so I will soon be 4-10, no right to be near the top.

PS - if instead of removing me from the ladder, you could just put me at the bottom, I could then make a challenge to someone when my game count becomes reasonable again. Is that possible?

Well I did lose to Elric. Actually, never beaten him in a match, I might have taken a game or two, but he is undefeated against me.

I was playing Erik then though (Lord Arioch) who is pretty much king of this ladder right now.

It has been fun being near the top of the ladder, only possible because Chuck reset randomly and I got number 2. It spurred me on to play on the ladder but since that reset, I am 4-6, fell 2 spots on the ladder, and feel more comfortable working my way back up. More than anything, I have too many games going to deal with 3 one on ones at a time. I made the mistake of joining four tournaments so until those are done, I will be less active here and make room for others like MGSteve and you to vie with Elric and Erik.

Initially, I had moved Tim to the Inactive List and gave you the win by forfeit (that was recorded with you moving up and stats changed). I found out from Tim that he is a Freemium and was having issues with sending invites and challenging players (this was addressed and Tim is all set)

I've got the challenge to General Bax recorded. Just post the games please (if you already have, then we're good).

ok...got a few things to do here...The match results are recorded...and you have been moved to the bottom of the Ladder to start your climb back up...I have confidence that not only will this succeed, but will help you get the 1v1 experience you've been looking for.

and why is that attorneys never let it go when they lose a major case...LOL

My games for Lord Arioch

A small mistake on my part, but I've got a solution...Even though I have my challenge against LA going on right now, I forgot to put my name in his "Challenger" spot.

My match against LA is currently tied 1 - 1, but he's going to win the final game. No way I can come back and I plan on hitting the "Resign" button when it comes up in Round 10 (trench setting)...so Lord Arioch will be winning this match.

I've recorded this match on the Ladder...I've also moved xroads to challenging Lord Arioch....

DIBS is open...

and I'm gonna follow BT to the bottom of the Ladder...I really need a nap from the grandkids and I'm afraid I might get my fruits having in MGSteve's face...
