dark for sure.. or if you go with light, tone it down a bit.
i think it should be similar to new world in the aesthetics. by that i guess i mean i'd like for it to look more mappy like new world, and maybe in a mode that is relative to the era of african colonization
if that doesn't make sense, just let me know and i'll try to put it in another way

I strongly disagree. The New World exploration era was a good two centuries before the main colonization of Africa.
i dont really feel the flags are neseccary. I think it would look alot better if the homeland map had the same colors as their corresponding place in africa. i think it would look better with a differnt way to represent it. But otherwise this is an awesome map and i can definatly see this on conquer club
Same problem I had with feudal. Can you move the numbers around a bit so attacking isn't so easy to mess up?
Congo 4 being able to attack Congo 5 and East Africa 5, for example. Having the territories border two with the same number leads to quite a few mistakes in the attacking. Accidentally attacking Congo 5 instead of east Africa 5, for example. It'd be easy to just switch the 4 and 5 in Congo, for example. that'd fix the problem.
There are a few other places with the same issue, such as Sahara 8 (borders two 7s) mountains 4 (borders two 7s) congo 6 (borders two 1s) South africa 3 (borders two 6s) and Congo 7 (borders two 6s).
None of those would be difficult to change. just copy/paste the numbers from one territory to another to fix the problem.

Forever linked at the hip's-banana! (That sounds strange, don't quote me.)
