magiiiiiic is a friend of mine outside of CC. I don't appreciate the comment made. Regardless of my sexual preference, and for the record - I am NOT gay, I take great offense to the comment made by the accused player. In addition, I am not a sore loser, however it does concern me that one who plays so well does not announce that their brother apparently is a so-called genius and a player on CC. If I had known that earlier on in the game, I wouldn't have argued my point and this subsequent accusation. However, these comments made by this player is definitely out of line and definitely if no action is taken, again...my decision to renew my premium membership will certainly end if this player is not dealt with in a severe manner.

Secondly, wouldn't that insinuate that YOU have personal issues with the topic of bigotry? Is it perhaps that you're upset that you cannot call someone a 'homo' or 'chink'? Not sure where you're getting your facts from but this is the first time that I can recall that I've submitted an accusation of *bigotry*. Lastly, I have a right to file a complaint if I see fit. got to be honest here, i know alot of you are good buddies with ownen and think him a great guy, i find him a bit irrational, childish and over reactionay (is that a word? if not i want credit for inventing it!) the guy has foed me 3 times because he just flies off the handle when he loses or something doesn't go his way. basically if he doesn't like how you play or he loses when he fells he shouldn't have, he will freak out on you accuse you of something stupid and foe you. i mean go ahead and look at the game chat of the game in question and then the origination of this issue he raised. Its childish. he lost to a player, didn't like it, accused them of cheating, which they obviously took offense too. he was way out of line in his accusations and his reasoning to justify them. just because he lost to a player of lesser rank doesnt mean you can start accusing people of multis and cheating. then because the player , who was obviously offended by owens childish behavior, insults him by insinuating he was gay (didn't call him gay just said the name owenator screams closet gay and implied a sexual relationship between he and another player, there is a difference) so owen gets all petty and childish and reports bigoty. why, not because he was offended but because he lost to someone he felt he shouldn't have amd just wants to get back at them for standing up for themselves when he flew off teh handle with his accusations. its childish, he's childish. i dont know he's chemically unbalanced, really stressed out in life or on drugs, but the guy definitely needs to chill out and not take himself, or this game so seriously. Otherwise, of course you can file complaints as you see fit. But as this is a discussion forum (you could have used an e-ticket), people are invited to comment. And yes, I thought this was a ridiculous accusation since it's not a big deal. You need more than that I think before being upset, a general objective standard must be upheld (if not, it's just a mess). To that comes that you kind of "started it", if you go accusing someone of cheating etc., well, they may throw a few negative sentences back at you. Social interaction and all that. Just society cupcake.

I think this kind of goes to the crux of whether gluttysirl's language was bigoted or not. If he/she had typed "are you gay? Because I can tell that you're too stupid to understand..." then I would agree it was bigoted. However, he/she never typed anything like that, he/she asked if you were gay and/or if someone was your boyfriend. That's not bigoted at all. As I indicated before, it's in poor taste, but definitely not bigoted.

I am sorry that you feel offended by that but I want to clear this up that the issue here is not whether one is offended or not, especially when the situation is done in the game chat. In this case, this is just trash talk. We got a lot of usernames here and anyone can say in the game chat that this and that username sounds retarded, gay, ugly, etc. Conquer Club takes a fairly liberal approach to what is said in Game Chats. Banter and some trash talking IS allowed in the Game Chats. You may not be used to hearing or reading some words thrown at you, or those "four-letter words", but some people do and will use them. If you find yourself in a game with someone who offends you, simply add the member in question to your foes list and his/her comments will disappear. That is why there is that option for you to use.
