This "Brigadier" in the first round of the game dismisses with the standard hello, g.l. greetings and goes straight to " bullshit drop " then proceeds to tell me to " sit on my dildo " and that I am another " fag on his ignore list " all in the FIRST ROUND.

It was a king of the mountains game I received 8 armies to deploy and he had 5, not exactly an insurmountable lead, i have been in his shoes many times, and you play through it. On that map you can overcome a bad drop, he did not even try, he misses a turn, yet chats trying to further insult me.

wether or not I like to sit on a dildo while I play C.C. is none of his buisness and his calling me a "fag " is discriminatory and uncalled for.

He is not the first high ranking player to act like this, codeblue1018 is another, These types of players with their napolean complexes are obsessed with winning at all costs and are not a benefit to Conquer Club at all, instead they give Conquer Club a bad name.

At least with the old feedback system I could have justifyably left this primadonna a negative feedback, which he would have deserved, as a warning for all to see. Reading a neg. feedback transcends a poor rating.

He's abusing his ignore list ? hmm--

"Napoleon Complex" - a pure classic.
However, it did sound right dick-erish. "Sit on a dildo"? What's next- "yo momma is fat"?

Please put the player on your foe list. He will not be able to join any games in which you are playing and his comments in the game chat will disappear. Also, he will be unable to post on your wall and you will not see his posts in the forums.

glad to see that Conquer Club, thru their mods, takes such a weak stance on this.

Am I to understand then that Conquer Clubs official policy on abusive players is just to ignore them?

I dont think this is all that abusive.. but... he wont get an award for sportsmanship..its really more of a flame wars thread..

id consider putting him on my foe list, but for 37 points, he can complain, and call me whatever he wants in the chat

Yeah, it's not great sportsmanship but the problem is the site, and frustration with it. Maps that aren't good for 1v1... cause mapmakers aren't thinking about 1v1. Scoring system that rewards bullshit match ups and takes the fun out of playing against all comers, particularly when the game is decided by luck in the first few moves.

This happens a lot. I think Torter is just fed up with this shit.

The site is completely lotto, but the minute you start blaming your opponents (whether they are skilled or not) for having luck you might as well run away crying. You're also slightly conceited if you disregard the fact that Lady Fortune helped win you a lot of games as well.

Yeah, but it hurts the luck on this site hurts more on the way down than it does on the way up... simply because it's hard to get a game with someone who is 2x your score, but easy to get a game with someone 1/2 your score. Another reason to vent not so much b/c person is getting your points by luck... they are just getting a little too many of your points!

As I read the chat, he was just pissing away about bad luck, and the insults were about playing slow. Noone likes to have their bare naked ass dragged over hot coals SLOWLY.

If you don't like 1v1, don't play 1v1.

torter is the man. dildo sitting or not. sometimes if you have just lost a bunch of times bc of bad dice/drop/lag ect you just flip out. if you dont like him or me or anyone who gets a bit feisty just block em. CC isnt a kindergarten teacher.

It can not be helped that sometimes we do have a very bad start in a game. However, some players do not know how to handle situations like that and resort to name-calling, insults, etc. Maybe you even caught the player on a bad day.

If he has, as you say, "Napoleon Complex", put him on your foes list or friends list, if you want. It's really up to you if you want to spend more time with players like that and/or reminiscent this kind of experience.
