Sully, forgive me for sounding naive, but why on earth does someone create so many names? I realize that a standard account is limited on the number of games alowed at one time. However, premium membership costs so little, it just doesn't make sense to have multiple names. Is there some other reason for so many people breaking the multiple account rule?

They want points. They create accounts, then on their main account, they beat their multi for the points.

Yep, 2 or 3 accounts are usually because the person wants to be able to play more games than the 4 they get for free. Of course when they get busted they wind up playing zero for free so its not a great solution.

Beyond just a few names, the person is creating them to cheat in the games and gain points (how one finds satisfaction in cheating to gain imaginary points in an online game site is beyond me. There is no reward for having a lot of points and sooner or later we will catch you.)
