Below is a summarised version of a ridiculous campaign he has conducted, and in the approximate sequence he delivered the abuse.

This player has a disgusting mouth and has been carrying out a vindictive flaming campaign based on the false belief that he was somehow cheated.

The worst that happened, if you review the game that is supposed to have triggered his vitriol, is that the other players refused to be swayed to play in a way that would strengthen his position in the game.

To declare my connection. The subject of the abuse is my son. He introduced me and several of his friends to this site and until woofman appeared on the scene found the experience quite enjoyable.

While I, my son and each of the players he has spewed his filthy mouth over can all add him to our ignore list, it would serve this site better if he were sanctioned in some way. A public apology would be a good start.

If he genuinely believes he has been cheated then let him place his accusation, here, on public record so that the mods can investigate.

I understand the problem (even putting him on ignore won't stop him from proclaiming to others that your son is cheating). But in cases like this I think simply ignoring him will be the best solution. We all encounter people from time to time who do nothing but tear us down....you won't be able to stop them all, so being able to move on in the face of unnecessary negativity is important.

If he really has a problem, tell him to report this supposed cheating in the cheating and abuse section. Or if you would like, you could report it yourself. We will look into it and if you are cleared you can show it to anyone who questions your son's honesty.

I once met a player in a game who was not happy with me because I busted him for cheating. He said he would keep creating new names and do nothing but attack me in all of them. He did create a few new names and flame me with them. Eventually he got tired of this personal vendetta and moved on with his life I suppose. I think your situation will end the same way, hopefully.

I don't envy your task moderating such a diverse culture as those that form the CC community.

I hear what you are saying and agree that he will probably let go. Most tantrums eventually subside.

It just seems that 'no consequences' will encourage repeat abusive attacks on other players who fail to be manipulated.

I thank you for the opportunity, via this forum, to express my view that attacks such as these only demonstrate a pathetic lack of courage by those who hide behind a pseudonym and attempt to spread their poison.

I've already had a conversation with King Achillies on the subject,
he told me some people will sink to low levels to manipulate the game, and gave me some pretty good advice on the situation

hehe oh gosh, thank god we're all nerds, otherwise it would be so embaressing that my dad is standing up for me in public (joking)

but yeah, smart thinking to bring the case out in the open so it can be properly investigated.
means all those people who whos gone and told that i cheat easier to brush off, although, his accusations have been dismissed by most because of the way hes gone about it.

either way, woofman said he doesnt think that i cheated, but that red did...
i dont understand how his accusation still stands in that case though. you cant secretly ally with some one by yourself, with out talking to them... so even if pickl were giving me the game (which it doesnt look like he is considering the pincer i am now in) it wouldnt count as cheating since even woofman agrees that I havnt done anything wrong...

Woofman was just accused of abuse, not multiple accounts or secret alliances. I think the other thread is enough to stand by itself, so I will close this one.
