Optimus Prime and theMacman cheating


These are suspected for a Secret Alliance

Comments: Optimus Prime had bonus of 12, theMacman had a bonus of 3, and I had a bonus of 5. Macman then attacked me.

I don't know the game specifics, but Optimus was probably fortified well enough to withstand any attack and you were weaker. He is a reputable player and tournament host. I highly doubt he would have a premium as a multi, especially when they joined 2 months apart.

no secret alliance there. macman is just a poor player.

i've had my share of people that constantly attacked me with no reason and handed the game to a third person.

put him on ignore.

I've had it where they let me take Europe, then Africa, Then SA. It was especially funny how the one person who was telling them to attack me was fighting for Oceania when he could have attacked me th whole time.

I tried to put myself on my ignore list once, and got this red emblazened message that said "you cannot ignore yourself" (a real epiphany on the meaning of life), so how can you attack yourself if you cannot ignore yourself? Sounds to me like a classic case in point for social masturbation.

I know the game that Witt07 is speaking of. It was a no cards Discworld game that went on for a very long time.

There was no secret alliance, and I am sorry to say that theMacman and I are not a multi, so you are just going to have to try something else. It appeared to me during the game that he just up and decided to suicide.

I have played in several games with theMacman, and yes, I do know him personally, but there is no secret alliance, you can ask the players in any of our current "Battle for Middle Earth" tournament games.

If the mods would like to check my PMs (I don't know if they can do that or not) they are free to, and they will not find anything even close to a secret alliance.

If you need other players to vouch for the fact that I am not a multi, you can contact rallison, Anarkistsdream, Luxurious (my wife), or countless others with which I have a very good reputation.

Sorry you feel that way, Witt07, but you are off the mark this time.

Yes, I was fortified, and I was fortified SUPREMELY WELL at the time. The other players in the game had virtually ignored me and allowed me to build my little empire over in the corner without so much as a whisper. Even if theMacman had come after me, I highly doubt he would have succeeded to any degree.

Negative One of the stupidest players I have ever played. It was practically Me vs Mac vs Optimus Prime. I had a bonus of 5, Mac had 3, and Optimus had 12, and he decided that he would try to sweep through me, when he could have taken Optimus Prime's entire bonus. Optimus went on for an easy win...I just noticed that Optimus Prime is a good friend of his by reading Optimus's positive feedback. I guess i see why he attacked my now. Plays with his friends and they gang up on people. Look at game 475277 and you will see that they had a strong unannounced in the game alliance. He says they take eachother out first, but, you will see if you look at the Game Log, the other person was eliminated first, I second, and Mac LAST. DO NOT PLAY WITH THIS PLAYER HE PLAYS WITH HIS FRIENDS AND CHEATS.
theMacman's response: Optimus and I are good friends, and as anyone would realize, that breeds even greater competitiveness. We usually tend to take each other out first, as they are the greater threat. In response to why I attacked Witt07 instead of taking away Optimus' bonuses, I just wanted to get rid of Witt07. I could attack either Optimus or Witt07 and the one I didn't attack was going to take me out of the game. I figured that since I had no way of elimiating all of Optimus' armies that my best bet woudl be to kill off Witt07. I wasn't going to hand the game to Witt07 and definatly wasn't trying to help Optimus. Witt07 is just a sore looser. Witt07, get over it and move on with your life! 475277 Witt07 ( 10-3 )

For anyone who is curious, this is the feedback that Witt07 left for theMacman. Yes, Witt07, I did eliminate theMacman last but simply because he was the most spread out across the map due to his suicide run. You only had a handful of territories, so I took you and the other player out first.

I'm sorry your feelings were hurt, but deal with it, you are apparently not at a loss for points and I have better things to do than deal with you acting like a little kid because you lost a game. It wouldn't have mattered if theMacman had suicided or not, I had that game in hand and would have won regardless.

I'm not suggesting you cheat, or that you cheated in this game, but looking at your PM's doesn't really do squat, seeing as you know him irl and you have a plethora of other ways to discuss strat with him...one only has to look down at your available IM'ing options to see this

I'm fully aware of that and I never said there weren't multiple options for me to do so. I personally want to know why if this is such a big deal to Witt07 and if he feels it necessary to accuse me of such a thing why he waited over a week to do so after the game was finished. If it is that big of a deal, he should have done it either during the game or as soon as it was finished. He should not have waited a week.

I can't believe ANYONE would call Optimus a cheater... He is one of the most honorable, polite people on this entire site.
