Calling someone a n_____ is applying a label to them and while I don't agree with it being as harshly punished as it is, I can understand why they get upset. Calling yourself Adolf Hitler is applying a label to yourself and absolutely and utterly nobody's business but your own.

It's like the difference between rape and masturbation. One is a criminal assault on someone else, the other is something that you do only to yourself and shouldn't concern anyone.
