Secret Diplomacy a6mzero PacMan24[es]

Postby Lord_Bremen on Sat May 10, 2014 10:16 am

Accused:

PacMan24
a6mzero

The accused are suspected of:

Conducting Secret Diplomacy
Other: Game Ruining

Game number(s):

Game 14265953
Game 14265952

Comments:

All three of us are in two games in the Flat Rate Classic tournament (I won the third already). At the same time (turn 50 in 14265953 and turn 44 in 14265952), one of them suicided on me so the other would win (via total armies at round limit). This essentially trades wins on separate games, which isn't legal even if admitted. There's no way this just happened spontaneously on the same turn by two random people.

This behavior is especially problematic in a tournament because you can't keep out foes.

Note: I'm trying to ruin their plans in 14265952 (by return suiciding on the guy supposed to benefit). But if you check the logs I was slightly up in armies before red threw all his guys at me.

After looking at these games several times I fail to see the secret diplomacy. They didn't trade wins like you stated. You stated that you were ahead in troop count and it sounds like you expected to win. In game 14265952 you told red he that he "2014-05-06 22:41:11 - Lord_Bremen: ...that gets you what, red? a loss? pathetic." but he ended up winning. Just because you don't agree with someone's tactics or the attack or don't attack according to what you think they should do doesn't make it secret diplomacy. The accused are CLEARED of secret diplomacy.

In both games, I was up by 10-15 troops. At the exact same time in each, the one with the least armies (who had no chance of winning) took me down ~50 armies so the other would win.

This didn't work in the second because I realized what they were doing and suicided on the guy who was supposed to win.

If you roll back the game logs, you can see what the situation was and how it occurred. Or just check their pms.
