In the first image, very clear it is post was made by violet herself. (09.Oct.2013 - 03:38 AM) (well if the post has not been made by herself, then this is even worse from disiplinary measurements.)

In the second image, profile shows canadian flag. To show nosurvivors logs in her account. (Last Visited: 09.Oct.2013 - 05:58 AM)

In the third image, profile shows united states flag again. (Last Visited: 09.Oct.2013 - 09:40 AM)


There are a lot of links i can find around worded by mods on this matter, however i feel like below comment made by one of our dear CA moderators should be clear and sufficient.

Fair cop. Am hoping that the ruling will come with detailed explanations and reasoning. In the past some mods have been unwilling to clearly spell things out(or appears so to someone of my limited vision). Hoping that everyone plays nicely and constructively. Maybe TFO could look at this, he is used to explaining things so idiots like myself can understand.

Lol, your pictures suggest at least a 3-4 hour time period in which the country's flags shifted. That's plenty time for someone to maybe text or call a friend or something of that nature to ask them to take a few turns they might otherwise miss? Maybe the investigation will prove further information, but as far as I see, NoSurvivors could have been just sitting for her. They've been good friends for a long time.

20 minutes is very enough time for any account owner to take care of their own turn/s in games which time is coming short.

Jdsizzleslice, also mind to consider, it takes to read forums, then decide what to post, how to reply, putting all in words, i am pretty sure she was on her computer reading all stuff at least 30 minutes (probably a lot more) before 03:18 AM... So, she should have a minimum 45-50 minutes before her last post in OP shown in image 1...So, Jdsizzleslice, do you mean she failed to make her own turns in 50 minutes then asked nosurvivors to sit for her ? And how many games she might ever have 50 minutes is not any sufficient ? Check your ongoing games, how many turns you have got waiting you to take now and anytime ? Well, i am running 12 active games and i have got 2 games waiting me to press run button. And for my 2 games, for me, 3 minutes for per game, total 6 minutes is quite enough.

Also, this below image is nosurvivors' wall in his profile...

it is obvious, she has been very well and for a long time online in her own account. It does not make any sense to me she might ever had a need for a sitter.

I explain rulings that need explanation, as do all the mods here. Some rulings are cut and dry. I made the mistake of not explaining a rather large case once. It hopefully won't happen again. Regardless, if I feel I need a helping hand, TFO will be involved. So will ES, Sniffie, KA......

forget me if i am misunderstanding this case and the pending from dcr but i thought any sitting issues were going to be dealt with by clan moderators(for clan games) or has that changed in the last 3 months. i also see that all them pms were referenced to clan games. i am not going to get involved in this but does this case actually belong in c and a forum or should it be passed to clan mods to deal with ?

this is just a question and not meant to cause any trouble.

Sorry, HardAttack, but there is no evidence that they are simply sharing each others' account on a regular basis, and certainly not enough evidence that it is happening for any kind of gaming advantage.

So you don't want to accept his decision, pity theres not a FAMO option here.......I honestly dont think that,NoS ad Vio share anyways....Only played them in a coupla Mafia games but still.....
Also depending on how much time was left in a turn, if was to be gone during that time period it might be justifiable to have a person "sit" my account for a few hours and not a for an extended period of time. Anywho if it was something bigger of a country jump (lets say Canada, Mexico, Canada) I might believe the case had a small amount of merit. But US, Canada, US I can do that, lets say NoS lives in the Canada and Vio lives in US, Vio wants to visit someplace close across the border, stays there for a few hours checks her CC from a Canadian comp/WiFi connection, shows up different on CC then goes back to US where she decided to check her CC again when it switches back to US on CC. IT proves nothing........ Dunno what you got against Vio, but this case just seems frivolous......
And IMO there is no contradiction, freakns was a clear cut case (he admitted to it himself), but yours? I don't know what even to say.

violet is not any possible to be in canada in less than 3 hours using any public airways according to where she lives in states unless she has got her private F22 Phantom Jet...But maybe she has one ?
also, the moderator accepted it account was logged by nosurvivor, what he rejects is;

1/on a regular basis
2/certainly not enough evidence that it is happening for any kind of gaming advantage

and believe me, before he speaks, he does every neccesary IP check procedures.
So, he has seen it nosurvivor was in violets account.

Finally, you are free to believe in anything you may like.

Look, HardAttack, I understand your frustration, but I am going to have to lock this thread. The answer has been given, my explanation is not to your liking so you continue to push on a closed case. I told you how to go about appealing it. Do it or don't but stop posting. just because you do not like the answer doesn't change the fact that I gave you my answer, and your only option at this point is to appeal it through an eticket. If you choose to post a new case about this same topic, then it will be closed immediately and be considered a spurious report.

I will however respond to some of the comments you have made.

1. Whatever a Clan Director chooses to say about account sharing pertains solely to their purview, which is Clans. They have no ability to issue warnings or bans on anything filed in the C&A forum. Whatever they say, regardless of whether it is correct or of value, is simply an opinion. We in C&A value opinions as much as we can, especially from the Clan Directors whom we share many issues with in regards to account sharing and such, but that is all it is, an opinion. Their rulings for clan account sharing is a separate matter from our view of account sharing.

2. The log-in you witnessed was an isolated incident. The Freakns case was repeated incidents. We do not know the details of this log-in, possibly to cover a speed game or something of an emergency, but since it is not something occurred before or hopefully again, I cannot in good faith give them a punishment for something that is not a problem. There was no malicious intent that I could see, other C&A mods agree, sorry it is not to your liking.

3. Finally, this is a new time for Conquer Club. Our rules, while not changing fundamentally, are looking towards allowing some leniency with the new management. Simply look at the permaban appeals and you can see us moving in a new direction. If a case looks to be benign, then it will be dismissed as we step towards a more positive, less argumentative stance. Not to say that C&A are ogres, but I can see us allowing more of a liberal stance on such cases. Rest assured, HA, if there was an issue with these two that looked bad it would have been dealt with. But there isn't.
