these players are suspected multis

Suspect users: mrbusdrvr8, ronaldlcoleman, hilcoves

Game number: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=432852

Comments: This game is a triples game and you will see when you look at the game history that all three of these players are on the same team and have taken their turns at nearly the exact same time each turn...I'm talking within seconds not minutes. They also seem to posess the exact same mind/strategy. I'm sure in the next turn you will see the exact same thing, all three will take thier turns at the same time. If they are indeed three different people I tip my hat and apologize, however I haven't yet had an experience like this and I have played almost 150 games. Just want to keep the playing field level and let the real strategists rise to the top legitamately.

Thanks, PabloDejaunopi a.k.a Jason Austin

first: the games a freestyle trips and last i heard, the teams take turns at same time, but that may have changed, i never do freestyle.

second: its called TACTICS, maybe you could talk it over with your team mates and arrange a time to be on at same time. if i were ever to do freestyle doubs or trips i would make sure i play turns same time as my team mates, it just works better

Doesn't change the fact that it is worth investigating.

Tactics...Possibly...but suspicious!

Yes it is a great tactic as it does give the team who does it a decided advantage...all of their fortifications end up in the right place at the right time...player A forts player B who takes his turn seconds after player A and in turn Forts player C...great tactic, but hard to organize said tactic...people have lives outside of CC and that tends to get in the way of timing. I have never seen a trips team take all their turns, even in a freestyle game, that quicklyand with such precision...So yes I agree with Coleman...It is at least worth an inquiry. If they are cleared more power to them...It just seems very odd to me! Later Pabs

This old chestnut eh?
I'm afraid to say I doubt they'll be found to be a multi. Multis tend to have bigger gaps between turns, what with having to log in then out etc. I'd imagine that you're up against three students (or similar) who are taking their goes simultaneously from some centralised computer room, or from a dorm; having co-ordinated the moves in person, or on an IM client beforehand.
If that is the case, then I'm afraid to say that it's totally legitimate; and its a possibility you've got to be prepared for in freestyle games against strangers. Although I appreciate it can be frustrating to play against such a ruthlessly efficient team.

But might I just say that it's extremely pleasant to see you're being so calm and good natured about it; this issue comes up every couple of weeks and some people get kinda irrate about it; y'know, insisting it's cheating and an abuse of the system, when in facts its just the paragon of teamwork.

If you really hate the experience (and I understand why you might) then the only way to avoid it in the future is to play sequential team games, or to set up pre-arranged team matches against people you know can't co-ordinate so ruthlessly.

Good luck in all your games dude!

Teamwork.

If they are working as a team with that level of cohesion...I will kneel before them and bow my head...I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy...
Nope it doesn't really bother me as long as its legit...and I will make the appropriate adjustments to my game play in the future to avoid similar incidents...although it would be fun to beat a team like this just to make their jaws drop and say "How'd they do that? We were pretty much invincible..." Thanks for the advice bud. Later - Pabs

Verdict: Cleared of multiple accounts

Hey Pablo,
Thanks for being such a good sport. I didn't want to post here until we were cleared, because I just felt like I wanted the verdict to come out before I "influenced the vote" But, in all honesty, we all know each other in real life, and do extensive IM chatting before we go. We try to run through who does what and when. We believe it is the best tactic. I know you say that you want to beat us, and we welcome the challenge. As you can see by our track record, we don't pick games with newbies in it, because we feel it would be unfair. In fact, we usually try to go against people higher rank than us. We feel like that way it gives us more of a challenge. We have lost before using this tactic, so we know we are not invincible. In fact, when we lose, we all feel like it is more fun, because we fight so much harder for that game. (See Game# 319973).
Once again, thanks for being a good sport in all of this, and not falling back to name calling. I feel like you were very honorable in telling us you were going to report us, and not complaining in the game.

Nicely done gents...

Hey if the Multi-Hunters say you're legit then I have to agree...It is quite a clever tactic. I hope you understand why I had to check...Nice work and good game as I am sure your team will win...but I'm not giving up without a fight! So I hope you brought your battle hats...cause it is on! See you in the game. Pablo Dejaunopi III out.

Scrap the comment above...

Thank you very much for the exoneration, Fireside Poet. And Pablo, I really hope that there are no hard feelings. I agree that you were absolutely honorable in this matter. You told us that you suspected us and then reported us. We had another game where someone was complaining and accusing us in game chat for the whole game, and it got real annoying. Thanks for the fun game. And yeah, we will save them for another day.

HAHAHA...Too funny Fireside! From your standpoint I'm sure it is good to see an issue resolved and having both parties shake hands and walk away...Good day gents...off to play my games! Pabs out.
