Teams 2 and 3 in Triples Match - Secret Diplomacy? [cleared]

Accused:

itake and riskpooh (Team 2) and Ncweidner and swt pimp (Team 3) are suspected of:

Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):

Game 9894328

Comments: In more than 13 rounds, the number of attacks by Team 2 against Team 3, or vice versa, has not exceeded 3 attacks. Of those 3, none of them were against targets with more than 1 man on it, and none of those terts were for a bonus. In other words: they attacked to get a card, nothing more.

Is it possible there's no secret diplomacy? Yes. But it looks awfully suspicious. Prior to those 13 rounds (dating all the way back to October 31), there were more attacks, but also, not many and they were very early on as all three teams vied for the Indian Territory. We gave up on it, yellow took it, and that was it.

We're certainly not the dominant players in the game, but the game has gone back and forth.

Trying to give the benefit of the doubt here, but NEITHER team is responsive in game chats.

Team 2would appear to be the dominant team, or holding the most commanding position. Find it curious that you only "site" 1member of team3, you would think it being a team game and all......... You don't need to enact a treaty in game chat to decide not to hit someone. Often I won't break someone, and if they don't break me, then secure in the knowledge that they are being neighbourly for the present moment, I'll go after other goals/players within the game. Team2 isn't really position to go after Team1 too strongly, and need to keep on deploying over the east of the map to stand any chance of doing so. Team3 is mainly in the middle of the map, and acting as a barrier between team2 and team1 for the most part. Why should team2 and team3 get in pissing contest along their mutual border and allow team1 to benefit? Nuclear spoils as well, so less cards the better in some cases.

I don't see any secret diplomacy or even cheap tactics. I see team2 and team3 being pragmatic about their choices and not attacking out on each other like noobs, failing to do that, fails to hand the game to team1. Unfortunate drop and position there. Team1 reading too much into things, and possibly lacking experience in multi team games, nuclear spoils, and patience.

Then again what do I know. Maybe using awesome mod tools, the C&A team might find a complex code involving the order and frequency of team2 and team3's attacks. Proving them to be cunning cheats of the highest order, possessing more subtlety than ever seen before, and being all round bad arses.

I agree with BoganGod's evaluation of the game's current status. Right now, besides, yellow taking a bonus zone, no one really has the advantage. Play the game and see how it goes.
