Comments: Coming in the game chat, even though he was not a player in the specific game. On top of that he found it necessary to insult players that actually were in the game.

I was not baiting him. I told him I was offended and gave him ample opportunity to apologize, which he ignored.

Mild is in the eye of the beholder, I did not feel it was "mild". Nobody calls me a sucka. That's an insult.

Besides everything else: I wasn't asking for an opinion of CC members, this post is meant for the C&A mods.

Lindax, at the time, I didn't even know you were being serious about what you were saying. I think "sucka" carries a far, far different weight from where you're at to the more common usage of it. In other words, a miscommunication. This will not get a warning, as it isn't Game Chat abuse.

Once again, I didn't ask for your opinion. Once again, I let him know I was not happy with his remark and gave him a chance to apologize. I even hinted at you, as a person who obviously knows him, to make him realize he was insulting me. No response from either of you.... Miscommunication: my ass!

I never asked for a "warning" either (like that's some kind of horrible punishment). I reported this for the proper people to look at and hopefully take notice.

Nobody should be insulted on this site, especially not by people invading the game chat.

kind of funny that a member of team CC is in this thread conducting himself this way.. the continual insults hurled at other members is far worse than the chat he is complaining of. i don't get it. this is another case of FOE AND MOVE ON... there will not be a warning issued. as RD said, it seems very playful, and i can't find a truly horrible definition of the word SUCKA. i think this is a very large stretch and bordering on frivolous. members of team CC should conduct themselves better than this in the forums. and if opinions were not wanted from the community, this forum would not be open. simply put, you can not tell people to stop posting in this thread as long as they are on topic and not flaming/baiting or trolling. again, this is a very tame incident and i doubt a warning will be issued. you'll be lucky if you get a NOTED...-the black jesus

frankly if that word is classed as abuse we may as well all give in now and just scrap the chat boxes other than team chat. Heres an idea, CC makes a list of whats acceptable and whats not then cases like this will be cut and dried. I dont really think you help your case by the tone you take when people dont agree with what you say FAMO

This is true, but if knapper gets warned in any way for his behavior of calling you a "sucka," you can certainly expect that a report will promptly be filed regarding your language in this thread, and consistency would require that you be admonished as well.

Actually it would set a precedent. I like the fact that on this community for the most part if you have BEEF, it's foe, rate them low, and move on.

I could pull up all my game logs, nitpick where someone called me a name - usually deserved - and try to complain about it, but really doesn't that just distract everyone from playing in order to referee a childish spat?

I'm not sure if English is your native language (I see you are from a country where English is not the official language) but I don't think that "sucka" comes anywhere close to being a disrespectful term, unless maybe you're in prison and are implying cowardice with it?

And you did call him an asskisser.. not really seeing where he flew off the handle with the flaming/trolling to warrant any action.

As the poster above indicated, this site is ancommunity of people. They debate merits and good/bad in regards to how the site sends out punishment, as it's precident setting. Therefore, they give their opinion on it as it will be the yard stick that they're held to be accountable to later, as the rules apply to us all.

Therefore, it's "everyones business" how punishment is handled, and that's why they/we/you & I all post here, give opinions, and receive feedback.

you are now one of the poorest examples of team CC that i have seen in recent history. even members of the junior mint mod squad have improved greatly with how they conduct themselves and many of them are very productive members of the community. your tone, attitude and abrasive posts are divisive and creating a very unpleasant air in a thread that is bordering on frivolous. when you come into C&A, you can not change the rules as you see fit, because you are a mod. just because you don't want people to comment, it does not mean that we can not comment. it is an open forum, there are C&A mods, and if anyone crossed a line they would step in. the only person crossing a line is you. i hope you get a behind the scenes warning, because your actions within this thread are an embarrassment to mods that know how to conduct themselves within the forums...-the black jesus

If it has no bearing, and doesn't matter then why are you making a fuss about what the community is posting? Just because we can talk doesn't mean we have a voice. It's easy not to be listened to. I don't think the C&A guys for better or worse care what we have to say. So if they aren't gonna care and you don't care either then why are you so up and arms that people want to communicate their thoughts with each other? Is the wings of thought via communication so wrong that every time someone says something you have to throw a fit about it? If you want this to be just between the C & A mods and you, you make it that way. Just ignore the others until they pass their judgment. By replying you are bringing them in.
