hi all.
quick explanation:
this player played against me shortly ago.
i quickly took control of the game while he was busy attacking all my regions with 3:3.
"noob" i thought to myself, and i was sure the game would be soon finished and thus encouraged him to stay online and "play it" now. (instead of taking a couple of days for a game lost in its first few turns)
what happened was that i understood that he was playing "before me" and he always kept deploying and capturing while i was playing, therefore i was always "chasing" my turn.
it may not be "proper" cheating, but it definitely is!!!!
until i understood what he was doing it was too late (i kept playing right away because i thought i could stop this thing but i was actually just worsening it)

i highly recommend, request, and demand to ban him for a few days from the system- so that the site will give a warning to him and to players who play this way to try and win games. it takes all the fun out and it definitively is cheating!

I realised very quickly what was happening, but had overlooked the freestyle format when I joined the game. I dont think its cheating (borderline versus new players) but its definately unsportsmanlike. Id prefer to see 1v1 freestyle games outlawed than ban ppl tho. All is fair in love and war and all that...or 1v1 freestyle only against ppl on your friends list, then nobody is blind or victim, cause there are probably ppl that enjoy that format. If you take away the mugging aspect its ok,..I think

Demanding someone be banned when he isn't cheating isn't going to happen. You are playing 2 player freestyle, how do you expect him to play? If you expect him to give you time to play then I suggest you play Sequential.
